Overall we were not satisfied. Bad service. We always had to reorder drinks ourselves. The fries were cold. The salad wasn't dressed, but neither were vinegar or oil on the table. With the bill, the boss offset himself by 17 euros to our disadvantage. But didn't even apologize. It was the last time for us.

Torero fish! For a few days (today is August 9, 2020) under Turkish management with a very fresh and well-designed range of products: the fish (sea bass) is super fresh and perfectly grilled. In advance we got four different freshly made dips: interesting, savory and tasty. The open kitchen creates trust and you can preview and choose both meat and fish in the display. You sit on a spacious terrace with a view of the allotment gardens. The service is attentive, friendly and brisk. Conclusion: we are completely enthusiastic and hope that this restaurant will find more fans next to us so that we can spend many evenings here over the next few years.

The small restaurant was an insider tip until mid-December. The food and especially the onion schnitzel was outstanding! Cozy atmosphere, large portions and great quality at a more than fair price. In mid-December there was a change of ownership. The food is not bad, but not like it used to be. Sure, there is also a new owner who has had to follow in very great footsteps, but every guest who knows the restaurant from earlier times will compare it with it. That's why I do it too. The portions are smaller and unfortunately not as good in quality as they used to be. The waiters seem a bit overwhelmed and unfortunately the food was long in coming and not all dishes came at the same time. The restaurant flair is a bit lost.

Update: new owner! Now it's no longer fun. Too bad, but here the soul has escaped, no fun, not quick and the food is unfortunately not as good as it used to be! Too bad, I had given the following review some time ago. The times are over! Extremely delicious, warm and fantastic! Absolute recommendation. Best schnitzel fries pils in town. In short: SchniPoPi? The restaurants in the allotment garden were really great until the change of operator in December 2019. Now it's just a flop. The whole concept of "white tablecloths" doesn't fit here. Et al long waiting times for drinks and meal orders. It's a shame that the great years of this small gastronomy oasis are over.

Simple pub and diner in Schrägbergartenanlage. Nice staff, good beer and edible food. In summer also pleasant seats on the terrace. We are here a few times a year. Ambiance is a bit dusty and kept simple.

Top address in Dortmund south. Food is great and so is the cold beer. Absolutely okay in terms of price. Small oasis if you want to go to Wichlinghofen / Wellinghofen for a short beer. However, many guests now travel from further afield! Beer garden. Parking facilities. High chairs. A lot for the money. Enjoyable.
